Welcome to Seacoast Swim Club!Seacoast Swim Club was established in 1973 for the purpose of introducing competitive swimming to local school age children. It was seen as a feeder program for the local high school. Seacoast has turned out to be much more than that over the years. Seacoast has provided many swimmers with the opportunity to reach their potential in the swimming world. Along with practice, swimmers are challenged in local, state, regional and national competitions. Through the combination of teaching and goal setting, many children have learned a lot about themselves which goes beyond swimming and applied it to the rest of their lives. Seacoast Swim Club is a non-profit organization. Our team has a lot of fun throughout the year. We participate in swim meets, fundraisers and outside-the-pool activities. The team swims at the Greely High School pool and is comprised of various skill level groups consisting of Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold. These groups will be headed up by veteran Seacoast Coaches Patti Drew (head coach), Carole Ryder, Sara Sloan, and Larissa Boddie. |
