Thursday, 4/24/08Several new meets are now posted: Deadline for entries into the June Bug Jubilee at Husson College will be Friday May 30, 2008. Meet takes place on June 7, 2008. Please either print off information sheet with your child’s name on it and attach check. Larissa and Carole will be collecting entries This meet is great for all swimmers Attached you will find the Long Course Meter Meet for the Silver Gold team at the Jenny Thompson Pool in Dover NH on June 21 and 22. We will need a minimum of 12 swimmers to go to this meet in order to make it worth while. Deadline is May 1 please drop off entries with Carole or Larissa.
Monday, 4/21/08SSC will be hosting the Seacoast May Madness Meet on Saturday May 31, 2008 at the Greely High School Pool. Deadline to get your entries in will be Tuesday May 20, 2008, events are $2.00 per event each child is allowed to do 5 individual events and 1 relay. You may enter the meet by either printing off the information sheet and indicating which events your child wants to swim or you can fill out an events request form at the deep end of the pool. Please have your child’s name on either form with a check attached for full payment checks are made out to Seacoast Swim Club.
Wednesday, 4/16/08There will be asbestos removal in the surrounding areas so the pool will be closed Thursday and Friday April 24 and 25 of next week. Sorry for the inconvenience. Monday, 4/14/08If you can not make the registration night you can complete the registration form and register at the Cumberland Recreation office at 290 Tuttle Road prior to the Spring session which starts April 28, 2008
Tuesday, 3/25/08If anyone is interested in becoming a swimming official, there will be a clinic held at the Sanford Springvale YMCA on April 26, 2008. No previous knowledge required. Monday, 2/25/08Summer Champs are in St John, New Brunswick, Canada July 23-26, 2008. Hopefully we will be taking a bus again this year. If you like plan ahead, see the hotel reservation information.

►All swimmers should bring water bottles to practice (remember to take them home with you though). It is better to have a water bottle at the end of your lane to sip on between swims so that you don’t have to get out of the pool during practice.
►Please check the bulletin board by the pool, for news items, and our updated website. On the website are the SSC Swimmer guidelines which need to be reviewed and signed by both swimmer and parent.
